Insomnia and the business owner

I'm not going to lie.  I am pretty horrible at keeping up on blogging.  But I'm going to try.  Hopefully I can keep on with the blog so that you, dear reader, can enjoy a bit of insight into the daily (weekly probably) workings behind the scenes.

So what is going on in our world today?  Insomnia.  Bad insomnia.  It can go away anytime now. know what happens when I get insomnia?  I go online and research different fun projects that we can do for our customers.  I look at craft websites to get ideas on fun gadgets and gizmos to add to our inventory.  I send emails and update contracts.  I tweak the website and write blog posts.

But even with the insomnia, I get stuff done.  I'm productive in the wee hours of the morning when I should be sleeping.  Because during the day, running a home business with a toddler and an 11 year old "helping" can be slightly daunting.  Sometimes the wee hours of the morning are the only chances I get to send a quick email or make some changes that I was wanting to make.

So when I say that our business is always open, I'm completely serious.  I mean, please don't come by and want to take a look at the inventory at 2 am...but feel free to shoot me an email.  I might just be awake and I might just be looking for another project to play with.  :)

Alright, off to try and sleep now.  Back at it in the morning.  And maybe my blog posts from here on out will actually be more than just sleepy ramblings.
